Psych strode slowly around the maze, he'd memorized the turns that lead to the dead ends, but there were still the paths to the garden to get down. Psych - in his stressed haze - took a wrong turn and wound up back at one of the entrances to the maze. He looked around him, about to walk back in when he felt someone around him. Just the sense that there was another breathing being around after the few hours of isolation in the maze.
Psych walked out a little more, looking for the person that was around. He wound up standing on the paved pathway that surrounded the maze when he found the person. His heart kicked up its pace and he glared at his chest before she saw him. He calmed his pulse and strode over to her. "Kyle? Why are you out here so late?" he asked, honestly curious.

Kyle couldn't sleep, she'd tried and failed, so finally she had left a note for Alena in case she woke up and had gotten dressed. Wearing a pair of jeans and a pair of combat boots, she straightened the black tank top she had on. Across the front of the tank top was a guitar like the one she had in her room. Walking up to the maze, she had one earbud in her ear, music playing, particularly a song that was her new guilty pleasure. No one but Alena knew she loved this song, and she wanted to keep it that way. So as soon as she heard Psych's voice, she almost jumped.
Quickly changing the song on the ipod, she looked over at him. Clearing her throat she rolled her eyes. "Couldn't sleep. Is it a crime to want to walk around the campus at night? What are you doing out here so late?" She countered, her arms crossing over her chest as she raised a brow before moving past him and into the maze. Glancing left, then right, she decided to go right, and if he really wanted to talk to her, he'd follow. If not, she might actually get some time to think to herself. A part of her wanted him to follow her though, and that small part was quickly hushed by her sleep deprived mind.

Psych waltzed into into the maze a few feet behind her. If she picked right again she'd be in a dead end. He tapped her shoulder with his note book. "Talent show. I got tired of being in my office for two days straight." he muttered begrudgingly. Then he moved to her side, pulling the unused headphone from the pair and placing it in his ear, because he knew she was too tired to really care. This also made him have to walk very close to her to keep it in his ear.
Psych looked down at his note pad and scratched out a few names to rewrite them else where. He had to make sure the time slots were well used and kept the rivals from sitting in the back of the stage too long so there wouldn't be a fight. "This is going to take all night."

Kyle blinked just a bit as he came up right next to her, then she almost smacked her hand to her head. Damn. She shouldn't have said a damn word. Looking over at him, she switched the song to "Revolution" by The Veronicas. Humming along, she looked up at him, then shook her head with a light smirk at that. "Oh, I don't envy you that. I just compete. I don't help organize, and this is why I don't," she laughed, shaking her head. Oh this was rather amusing. Seeing him so stressed out and not at the top of his game. Brushing her hair out of her face, she yawned slightly, then shrugged.
"My only real issue is I'm having difficulty choosing my song. Hard decision. It has to be something that grabs the crowd, you know?" She said, glancing at him, then frowned a bit. Shaking her head she had a current thought. "Are you competing this time?"

Psych laughed and nodded as he listened to the music before he wrote something on a clean page of his pad. "I have to. Alena near begged me to. I'm singing." Psych said and looked up, seeing the next fork he began to walk to the left, because he didn't want to hit the dead end.
Psych penciled something on his pad again before he took her iPod from her and ran his finger over the circle to browse her music. He selected Our Lawyer Made Us Change the Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued by Fall Out Boy. He hummed along with it as he handed the device back to her and went on organizing the slots again.

A laugh left Kyle's lips and she simply shook her head in amusement. That was so like Alena, to drag Psyche into it. Not sure if he would have performed or not on his own, she left it alone. Stretching some, she froze as that song came on and made a confused face. Shaking her head, she grumbled something under her breath about someone fucking with her ipod and immediately changed the song after taking it back from him. "My ipod, my rules mister," she huffed. The next song was one by Three Days Grace, and made the rocker girl smirk. Riot.
Going left with him though, on the next turn she led them right. He was so not being in control here. Humming along to the song that was playing now, she smirked a bit. Going through songs in her head, she was debating between three songs to sing for the talent show, and she would have to pick one soon.

Psych listened to the song and smiled. He enjoyed Three Days Grace just like any other teenager of their day and age. He took back the iPod when she was busy leading them to the right. He scanned through the music and located a song he liked a lot and pressed the button for it to play. The song? For Your Entertainment by Adam Lambert. He listened to the song for a few moments then he sang in a low baritone that just got under the skin. "I'mma hurt ya' real good, baby. Let's go, it's my show, Baby, do what I say." Psych drew in a breath seamlessly and went on, "Don't trip off the glitz that I'm gonna display. I tole ya' I'mma hold ya' down until you're amazed." Psych emphasized the last four words and looked right at Kyle, grinning suggestively.

Kyle almost froze as she heard the familiar song come over her ear bud, then glanced at him through the corner of her eyes. She loved his voice, whether she'd admit that or not was a completely different story. Closing her eyes for a moment, she listened, then looked up at him when he emphasized those four words. That grin made a blush raise to her cheeks, but she was not going down without a fight. Clearing her throat, she pushed her hair out of her face, taking her ipod back from him, and continued on. "Give it to ya till your screaming my name. No escaping when I start, once I'm in I own your heart. There's no way to ring the alarm, so hold on until it's over," she continued effortlessly, emphasizing the word scream, a smirk curving her lips as she added a light swing to her hips as they continued through the maze.

Psych looked at her and grinned widely. He took out his music player - a small Walkman that was red and looked awfully beat up. He turned on the little thing and unplugged the headphones already in their ears and plugged them into the small thing. He scrolled through his music and grinned as he tapped the button to play the song. "Boom, boom, boom, boom, I want you in my room, to spend the night together from now until forever. Boom, boom, boom, boom, I want you in my room, to spend the night together, together in my room." Psych began to sing the rest of the song as it went on, as well, walking them straight as the next fork came along.

Kyle laughed at that, then started humming along, bobbing her head to the music. A few dark locks of hair fell into her face, making her laugh slightly. This felt oddly peaceful, and the little bit of blush that was in her cheeks was gone now thanks to this song. She just found the high pitched singing to be one of the most appealing and amusing things about the song. Turning them left, she remembered that that right would take them to a dead end, she continued to listen, putting her own iPod back in her pocket after turning it off. There was no use in wasting the poor thing's battery.

Psych let the song play through, but then the sing ended and the one song that might ever make Psych blush came on. It was Candy land by Blood on the Dance Floor. Psych began to sing the song, because he had no qualms with fuckin' with her virgin mind. "Ladies and Gentlemen. Whores and sluts, step right up, behind this curtain is where all your fantasies come to life..." He paused for a moment, then said, "Welcome to Candy land!" Psych grinned like a mad man while his heart raced from mild embarrassment. he hadn't wanted Kyle to be the first to hear that on his music player.

Kyle hummed along to the song until it got to the end, then frowned a bit at the unfamiliar song that came onto his iPod. Tilting her head just a bit, she gave him a look, raising a brow critically at the first lines. Whores and Sluts was something she didn't expect to be heard over her earphones, not in that context. Shaking her head she just looked at him like he was odd. There was no blush or anything, just losing a bit of respect for his taste of music a bit.

Psych didn't really mean to push the button, but he did and then that's when this song came on. Well, shit, guess that means that this was the song that was gonna make him blush. Because there was a minor tint to them. "Girl, I've been waiting on this long hard day to get over... so I can rest my head right here on your shoulder..." That was one of the ost gushy songs on his Walkman. He pushed his pen behind his ear and ran a hand over his hair, which was down this late at night, his hat sitting on his desk in his office. Psych looked down at the ground, willing his heart to slow its pace.

Kyle blinked just a bit at the new song that came on and gave Psych yet another confused look. The fact that he head a love song on his music player, and the fact that it was country, at first confused her. Seeing that he was blushing, she couldn't help but laugh, a grin curving her lips before she took his Walkman, and changed the song, not really caring what came on next. She really just didn't like most country, and didn't feel like listening to a song she didn't know. Handing it back to him though, she led them to the left. Stretching just a bit, she still didn't say a word or sing a word. Unless she knew the song or liked it a lot, she wasn't going to sing, and she didn't know what to talk about.

Psych took the moment to be a graceful angel and trip on a rock. (Sarcasm dripping off of his thoughts) He stumbled forward and almost fell. 'Shit! Ow... that was smart..." he grumbled while Knox laughed at him loudly and boisterously. Psych smacked his head with his notebook.
Knox decided he was going to take hold of the fatigued body and said, in a rather happy tone, "It seems that the rebel is wearing the king out. But I still have plenty of energy." Knox looked at her and crossed his arms, eyebrow wiggling.
