Sunatis…
A country known for it's freedom, it's grand economy, it's diversity, it's peace. Their country was "The Land of the Free." "The Land of Opportunity." It was built by the people, for the people. So that they could be free. So that their citizens, rich or poor, human or mystical, could have equal rights and live together in peace. A democracy. The citizens used to have the power that being in a democracy would give them.
Their country took a turn for the worse... When they thought it was peaceful, it became hectic. When the country swayed into recession, did the government help? The mustered up an excuse that it is only a phase for a better economy. Sunatis's government became more arrogant. They started to butt into other wars, which sent their own economy into a depression. A depression that soon was marked as its worst.
The citizens held their peace. But then, the government only got worse. They began putting everyone under surveillance, in public or in their own homes. They began taxing the working man more and more. The rich people began having more rights than the poor people. The government were working for total, complete power. They wanted to control the citizens' every movements. They didn't want a democracy. They wanted a dictatorship.
That's when the people decided they were no longer going to take the government's bull crap. They did what anyone in their right mind would do. They started a rebellion. There were and still are protests, riots, acts of violence. But can the rebels take back what they should have been given in the first place? Can they win back their freedom and peace?
